The Snowboard Holder Mount Kit can be attached to either sides of our Compact Snowmobile Rack or Large Snowmobile Rack or you can install two of them for carrying two snowboards. The snowboard holder is why we started building snowmobile racks - as carrying your snowboard in a backpack is a total pain.
The Snowboard Holder Mount Kit simply bolts to the side of any of our racks. The mounts are made from UHMW plastic (kitchen cutting board material) so it is extremely tough but soft enough that it won't chew up your board. Quick release ratchet straps allow for fast and easy "gloves on" loading and unloading while keeping your board secure underway. There is enough length and flexibility in the straps to allow for different board widths to easily be secured to your snowmobile.
The mount kit doesn't use up any of the interior rack space so you can mount your boards and still have the full carrying capacity of the rack. Being able to bring extra gas along on your back country adventures means no more worrying and wondering if you have enough gas to get home after a long day of shredding!
