Snowmobile Rack
The racks are made of powder coated aluminum, making them light weight and corrosion resistant. They are designed with many natural tie down locations to hold a wide variety of shapes and sizes of cargo. The cross bars are raised above the deck of the snowmobile so that your radiator continues to operate efficiently.
Having a rack on the back of your snow machine will make all sorts of tasks easier and allow you to snowmobile more safely. For extra fun, carry snowboards, skis, and ice augers. For extra safety, carry spare fuel, and overnight emergency kit. For utility, carry your chainsaw and help clear a path for the next guy. Port Tack Rack are made for ease of use and durability.
Construction
Standard Rack: Our larger rack (right), the dimensions are 19.5 inches long by 17 inches wide, and 7 inches high. The width can accomodate sleds of varrying widths because the plates come in by 2 inches on either side. The rack is symmetrical except for the top rail, so can be placed forward or backward depending on the configuration of seats and tail lights.

Compact Rack: The smaller rack (top right), dimentions on this rack are 12 inches long by 17 inches wide and 7 inches high. This rack can hold a single 5 gallon jerry can or two 2.5 gallon cans side by side.

Trapper Rack: The largest rack (bottom right), dimentions on this rack are 17 inches long by 17 inches wide and 10 inches high. This rack can hold a single 5 gallon jerry can or two 2.5 gallon cans side by side. This rack also has the assymetrical end which can be helpful for carrying chainsaws, rifles, and ice augers. If you have some large equipment that might stick out of the sled the hoop at one end can be helpful in configuring your load.
Chamfered 3D corners are built into all of the tube and plate connections meaning that the welding connection is of top quality. The integrity/durability of the rack is high based on the detailed weld connections. Drilled holes cause weak point in the frame and can result in bending or breaking of the frame. The only drill holes on our racks are on the overengineered side plates where the snowboard and ski holders bolt on.
Accessories
We currently offer a wide range of accesories that fit on either size rack.
Jerry Cans: The racks fit 2.5 Gallon and 5 Gallon cans and are in fact designed with these two fuel cans in mind. They fit perfectly and are snugged down by a heavy dutry strap so the system can handle the rigours of snowmobiling- Snowboard Holder: This rack can accomodate 2 separate snowboard holder set ups so you can carry up to 2 boards. Each side has two straps for a secure fit for your board and redundancy should anything occur.
- Ski Holder: One set of skis can be taken on the rack using the same supports as the snowboard holder with the ski straps.
