Ski-Doo Summit REV and Early Summit (2002–2007) Snowmobile Rack
This page covers the 2002 Summit and the original REV-era Summit models from 2003 to 2007, including the Summit 600, 800 and Highmark versions. Ski-Doo launched the REV platform for 2003, and the Summit moved onto it over the following seasons.
Will the Patrol Rack fit?
- Tunnel width: The Patrol Rack (19.25" L x 17" W x 7" H, 2.7 lbs) ships with two widths of mounting hardware, covering tunnels from 14" up to 17".
- Tunnel length: The Patrol Rack needs about 19.5" of clear tunnel behind the seat. On these older Summits, that means the longest-track versions only. Short-track Summits often don't leave enough room, so measure behind your seat before you order.
- Good to know: These sleds predate Ski-Doo's LinQ accessory system, so there's nothing to remove and no conflict with factory mounting points.
How it mounts
The Patrol Rack through-bolts to your tunnel. Center it, mark the holes, drill and bolt it down. It uses the same mounting points as our earlier Large and Compact racks, so our older install guides still apply.
What to carry
Add a ski holder or a snowboard holder to each side, and use accessory straps for fuel, a gear bag or a chainsaw in the middle. See the Patrol Rack for details.
