The Patrol Rack is an updated version of the Large Rack that features some of the best aspects of the Compact Rack. It includes almost the same amount of cargo space. When you need large capacity on your snowmobile adventures and want to take along a lot of extra gear - two snowboards or two sets of skis, ten gallons of gas, ski boots, extra gear a chainsaw, ice auger, etc all while neatly fitting behind your snowmobile seat bolted firmly onto the tunnel.
The only difference between the Patrol Rack and our previous versions, the Large Rack and the Compact Rack, is the length. The Patrol Rack is just a bit smaller than the Large Rack was but bigger than the Compact. Critically, we managed to keep the gap between the front and back ski and snowboard mounts the same as they were on the large rack, so your gear will be taken care of nicely. If you need to carry a lot of extra gear and gas this is the rack for you.
The system is a perfect fit for SkiDoo Summit series and Polaris RMK. Put a Patrol Rack and ski or snowboard holders on and you're all set.

"I bought my rack in 2014. I've now moved to my fourth new sled, but the rack is basically bulletproof. I've used it in all sorts of conditions and really filled it up, it's amazing."
Famous Alaskan Backcountry Guide in 2020.
“I’m the type of guy who does 3-4 months of research before I buy anything. I looked at all the different racks out there and love the PortTackRacks system. What sold it for me is the strapping system, where it’s so easy to adjust the straps and so simple without any tools… Thanks!”
- Dane, Michigan
“We went to the mountains today with the new rack and LOVED IT!”
- Rob Meyer, AK
“Received today… very pleased – quality product – secures gas tank to the tunnel 10 times better than a bungee cord”
- J&B Liston, NB
“Wow, this rack is just what the guys need! When I ran it everyone had their own custom stuff strapped together”
- Iron Dog race participant
“A whole season under our belts and the racks look as good now as they did when new!”
- Phil Ghent
Quality product at a much better price point than the competitors.
I bought a rack and two sets of straps for my 2009xp. It fit perfectly on the sled.
I own two racks, another on the gf’s sled. These are the best racks in the game especially for ski and snowboard carry! Or pow surf and snowboard and gear bag.
Rack is great! Super lite easily
Installed with perfect mounting for the ski rack. Only change I made was to widen the ski holder because it was too narrow for my skis. The only thing I wish was a quick release compatible piece for the sled
It’s been a great rack and fit perfectly on my Yamaha Vector. Holds 2 pair of Skis and a pack.
